Singing Saturday Looking forward to Stella Savy next We haven't had a concerted push as we've been a bit busy on other things, and also there hasn't been a suitable venue.

So far we have had Performances from community choir, Tongue & Groove, acapella Vocal Agents and a facilitated workshop to form an ongoing Marysville & Surrounds choir. We (the collective arts groups of Marysville & Triangle etc) have been looking to get a community choir/singing group up and running for many years - largely as a community building/recovery project as we all know singing is great

for wellbeing and social inclusion. We now have a fantastic venue (MiRa) and it seems the time is right. To get it started we have come up with a 'catalyst' plan - Singing Saturday. There is much talent hidden in the area, we hope to entice, encourage and support potential choristers plus 1 capable person to take the helm, and build a choir that meets at MiRa on a weekly/monthly basis
This is a community building exercise, supported by local arts groups.
