Wildflowers Activities: Creativity for Rainy Days! 🎨☔️

“At Wildflowers Youth, we love encouraging girls to express their ideas and individuality through art. Creative activities also support children to boost their cognitive and fine motor skills, to practice following step-by-step instructions and to gain confidence through accomplishing mini goals. Creative activities can support a sense of wellbeing and emotional regulation, including for children who have experienced trauma like those whom we support with our workshops and services.

Wildflowers Youth Founder Bethany attended Common Grace’s webinar last night: ‘Healing After Leaving Domestic and Family Violence’. 👩🏻‍💻

This was a great opportunity to learn about best practice for compassionately supporting victim/survivors in their healing journeys. 💖

Wildflowers is committed to developing skills and knowledge to help the girls and community groups we serve. 🌷

DONATION REQUEST!! Scrapbooking supplies 👩🏻‍🎨💖

Please message if you can donate scrapbooking supplies, such as:
- Kids and youth magazines (See below cat-approved examples)
- Stickers and washi tape
- Markers, glitter pens and high lighters
- Old calendars with celebrities, animals and flowers etc.

These will be used for creative arts workshops for girls in our ! 🌟

Donations can be collected from Southern Highlands or Southern Tablelands, or posted on request.

What a joy it is to work with the Wildflowers Youth! Thank you, Bethany, for everything you’ve provided and for the beautiful impact you and wildflowers have continued to bring to our camps. Your presence and support have helped inspire so much hope, softness, and confidence in the most meaningful ways.

From self-care and self-love activities that encouraged the girls to slow down, reflect, and truly value themselves, to the sweetest little makeup bags filled with thoughtful gifts, every detail felt so intentional and caring. The encouragement, warmth, and emotional support you pour into these spaces is deeply appreciated.

URGENT: CHRISTMAS DONATIONS NEEDED

A lovely local family with 4 children has lost their home to a fire right before Christmas.

Wildflowers is donating these gifts for the girls.

Please message if you can donate brand new, unopened gifts to help make Christmas still special for these children. The girls love crafts and the boys love sports. Donations are needed by Saturday 20th December for delivery.
