🔥 WEDNESDAY NIGHT INSPIRATION 🔥

A massive mihi to two NRL Māori All Stars and New Zealand Kiwis, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Casey McLean — also a NSW Blues Game 1 winner — for giving up their time to come down to St Clair Comets RL Club and connect with our young Māori Rugby League talent.

The night was made even more special as they caught up with two of our U15 players, Rocco and Daytona, who have just returned from the Rangatahi Tournament in Rotorua, NZ, along with Lyrix, a young Maori boy dreaming to be like his hero's.

A huge shoutout to the St Clair Comets whānau for creating opportunities like this for young players to connect directly with elite athletes.
It was awesome to see Dallin and Casey giving back to the next generation at their appearance at Peppertree lastnight, continuing to inspire young rugby league players throughout our community.

Check out what you missed lastnight whanau:
https://www.instagram.com/p/DZBz_YyzGUz/?igsh=MTV0Y2c4aW5rbDEyaw==

One powerful question was asked to Dallin:

"When did you know you were special?"

His answer:

"I played in the NSW Māori Rugby League side at St Marys Stadium at 15 years old. From there, I trained as hard as I could."

That message says everything.

Pathways matter. Representation matters. Our rangatahi seeing what is possible matters.

From local footy fields to the Māori All Stars, Kiwis, NSW Blues and NRL stage — our young ones are watching, learning and dreaming bigger.

Ngā mihi nui Dallin and Casey for inspiring the next generation and reminding our rangatahi that hard work, belief, and embracing your opportunities can take you anywhere.

🔥🏉 U10 TĀMARIKI – SEEKING SPONSORS FOR 2026! 🏉🔥

Kia ora e te whānau,

Our Māori Rugby League NSW U10 Tamariki Touring Team is preparing for an unforgettable journey as they represent our people, our culture, and our state on and off the field.

This September, our tamariki will travel to Rotorua, Aotearoa New Zealand, competing against some of the best young Māori rugby league talent while strengthening their connection to whakapapa, culture, and identity.

This experience is about more than football. It's about developing confident young leaders, creating lifelong memories, and providing opportunities that many of our tamariki may never otherwise have.

💚 We are currently seeking sponsors and supporters who want to invest in the future of our rangatahi.

Your support will help cover:
✅ Travel and accommodation
✅ Uniforms and playing apparel
✅ Tournament costs and logistics
✅ Cultural experiences and development opportunities
✅ Equipment and team preparation

Whether you're a business, organisation, whānau member, or community supporter, every contribution makes a difference.

Together, we can provide our tamariki with an opportunity to proudly represent Māori Rugby League NSW while creating pathways that extend far beyond the game.

📩 Interested in becoming a sponsor or learning more about our sponsorship packages? Reach out today and help us empower the next generation.

Invest in our future. Back our tamariki. Build our legacy.
