🇬🇷 INFORMATION SESSION | NEW INHERITANCE LAW IN GREECE 🇬🇷

The Cretan Association of Sydney & NSW in collaboration with the Athenian Association of NSW, warmly invites members and friends of the wider Greek community to an important information session on the new inheritance laws in Greece.

The session will be presented by Greek lawyer John Tripidakis, a proud Cretan and former member of the Executive Committee of the Cretan Association of Sydney & NSW, who will discuss the key changes to Greek inheritance law and what they may mean for you and your family.

Whether you own property in Greece, expect to inherit assets, or simply wish to better understand the changes, this is a valuable opportunity to gain insight into an important topic affecting many Greek Australians.

📣 📣 14th ANNUAL MEGALONISOS AWARD

At this year’s Arkadi Dinner Dance, the Cretan Association will once again present the prestigious Megalonisos Award to a past President, Committee Member or member of the Association who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Cretan community.

This award recognises the dedication, contribution and sacrifice of individuals who have worked to further the Cretan Association and the Cretan cause in Sydney and Australia.

We invite members to nominate a deserving individual by completing and returning the attached nomination form by 31 October 2026.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Steve (Eftyhis) Manoussakis, a longstanding member, generous supporter and valued friend of our Association.

Steve was a dedicated supporter of our Association over many years, particularly through his generous sponsorship and support of our youth and their cultural endeavours.

We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Manoussakis family during this difficult time.
