Volunteering is for approx 1 hour sometime between 9pm - 11pm at the party and you’ll be in teams with other helpers. You’ll be in charge of some crazy, cheeky, interactive games and deciding who passes or fails.

Rest in Heavenly Peace Dolly. You truly made the world a better place not just through your songwriting, voice & musicianship but through how you engaged with people and life. You were utterly joyful, fun and downright silly but you treated everyone equally with kindness, love, inclusion and respect.

We’ve had the privilege of being ongoing supporters of Dolly’s Imagination Library through various charity raffles at our parties. And one day a few years back - without asking - I got a little surprise in my mailbox.. an autographed photo and a thank you note from Dolly herself.

So much to say but here’s a couple things that embody Dolly’s sense of fun. First shows her silly side and that’s this little one-liner “If I have one more face-lift I’ll have a beard!”. Join us for an American Labor Day Picnic, Fun Run or Fun Walk & some Kickball!

🇺🇸 BASIC INFO
Adults only. Free. BYO drinks & picnic items. Everyone’s welcome so don’t just invite your American friends.
~ 12pm meet at Prince Alfred Park, drop-off your picnic items
~ 12:15pm both the Fun Run & Fun Walk commence and both will return around 1pm. Fun Run is approx 5km through beautiful Blackwattle Bay. Fun Walk is a very social & semi-guided tour of Surry Hills/Redfern. For those who just want to picnic, show up anytime from noon onwards and skip the run or the walk.
~ 1pm onwards Picnic, Kickball and lots of socializing.
