Since 2010, the Catholic religious congregation of the Passionists have operated a hospital in the remote township of Itololo in Tanzania that p
rovides critical health services to poor and vulnerable people. The Passionists now want to expand their hospital to include a women’s ward that will allow medical staff to provide specialized care that reduces maternal and infant mortality. The women’s ward can be built for AUD$150,000. The ward should enable the lives of at least 100 mothers and infants to be saved each year. The local people are too poor, however, to finance construction of the ward. Our Appeal to You

You also know that the life you give, perhaps at the cost of your own life, may have little chance of survival beyond 12 months.
