This is What's Good In Aorere College Hood!

Waokauri Stream Project in Aorere.

Six years ago Aidan Kiely founded an annual project, Waokauri Stream Ecosystem for the Youth of Aorere to develop their knowledge upon;

- Social Issues
- Actions
- Leadership Skills

The Project helps Our Generation stop the Curse of Natural Disasters, Water Pollution, Biodiversity Loss etc.

"A Small Piece of rubbish can make a big impact on our Environment."

This is What's Good In King's College Hood!

King's has an established Community Service Program / Activities that ALL Students get involved with.

Here are some of the Programs / Activities;

- A group of students from King's go to Mangere Refugee Centre, and they help out Kids to get use to Life in NZ.

- Every Tuesday - Thursday after school is the opportunity to go to Otahuhu After School Care - Help Kids with homework and play games with them!

- Help out Middlemore Hospital, currently running Baking Drive, the girls bring in all sorts of baking and they drop off to Middlemore Hospital Workers to THANK them for all the Great Work they're doing.

This is What's Good In St Luke's Hood!!

STREET LIBRARY ST LUKE'S CATHOLIC COLLEGE
Street Library is a Pop Public Library that can be featured in Shopping Centres, Outside people's homes and outside of schools.

It's a Space where people can borrow books for FREE - They Can Take a Book, Give a Book and Share a Book at any time.

Benefits of Street Library; Improve Literacy, some families don’t have time to go to a library, so they pick up books here and it brings Joy, and that wonder and imagination that books have.
