Every coin dropped into a collection box is more than just spare change. It’s a small act of kindness that, when combined with the generosity of others, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families doing it tough.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

At Inclusive Kids, we believe that access to education and the resources that support learning should never be determined by a family’s circumstances. That’s why we’re incredibly grateful to Tammy, a passionate teacher who understands firsthand the power of education to change a child’s life.

Tammy has generously donated a wonderful collection of educational books and learning resources to help support children in our community.

As a teacher, Tammy knows that sometimes it’s the simplest things, a book to read, a resource to explore, or an opportunity to discover something new can make an extraordinary difference in a child’s life.

But what makes Tammy’s contribution particularly special is that she’s doing more than donating resources. She’s standing shoulder to shoulder with Inclusive Kids, helping us ensure that children facing disadvantage have the same opportunities to learn, discover and succeed as their peers. This is what community looks like. People recognising a need and choosing to be part of the solution.

What an incredible show of support from our local business community.

Our Cricks Sunshine Coast Footy Finals Fever Lunch was a fantastic day but behind the laughs, the footy stories, the auctions and the entertainment was a much bigger purpose: helping local kids who need a hand.

To every business that bought a table, donated an auction item, sponsored the event, contributed a prize or simply put their hand up and said, “How can we help?” thank you.

Together, we raised almost $45,000 and that simply doesn’t happen without a community willing to stand behind a cause. What we love most is that these are Sunshine Coast businesses supporting Sunshine Coast kids. Businesses that understand that being part of a community means investing back into it.

Every ticket purchased, every bid made and every dollar donated will help us continue creating opportunities and providing practical support for children and young people who need it.

To all the businesses featured in this video and everyone who helped make the day possible we are incredibly grateful.
You didn’t just support an event; you helped make a difference.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Sports & Community Venues team at Sunshine Coast Council for rolling up their sleeves and helping us pack an incredible 584 Fruitron, Fuel for School packs.

Every pack represents more than just a healthy snack. It represents a child heading into their school day with something nutritious in their belly and a better opportunity to learn, concentrate and thrive.

What we love most about days like this is seeing what happens when people come together around a simple belief, no child should have to learn hungry. 584 packs. One fantastic team. Hundreds of small acts of kindness ready to make a difference.

To everyone in the Sports & Community Venues team who gave their time and energy, thank you for being part of Fuel for School and for helping us support children in our local community.
It’s a wonderful example of what can happen when community supports community.
