Hi there Maroochy Families 👋 ☔️

So sorry folks but Unfortunately our grounds are totally SATURATED and so we are making an early call to CANCEL our Wk 2 competition program for tomorrow night. Continued wet weather 🌦️ is forecast overnight so is not allowing any drying out.

😢☔️ we are making a plea to our families to advise us via our email address if they are available to compete at the Suncoast Relays Day - scheduled for Sat 14 November at the SC Uni track. All details and the nomination forms are on our website - please make yourselves familiar with information there.

😊🌈 we are extending our Relays nomination closing date to include this weekend and families can drop forms in at the Shed tomorrow afternoon between 3pm & 5pm or weather permitting at our scheduled Sunday Coaching session between 2pm & 4pm.
A Committee member will be in attendance at the Shed to collect these.

‼️Bib numbers can be collected at the above times as well.

👌These arrangements are put in place for the safety of ALL families. Should you have any queries please email Alison on [email protected]

Our website has information and links with our page . 🙏 Please stay safe and monitor the above links for further announcements.

😢 Due to forecast heavy rain later on this afternoon and the fact that our grounds are still quite wet, for the safety of our athletes Coaches have CANCELLED the scheduled coaching session for this afternoon.

😊 Alison will be at the shed at 3.45 until 4.15 to collect any Relay nominations and or for members to pick up their bib numbers so Mum’s can get sewing. 🧵 Please drive up to the shed for nominations etc today - Use entrance at the lights & come through the gateway alongside the hall.

Keep a watch on our page for any further reports over the next couple of days.. ☔️

Sorry folks but for the safety of everyone our meet for tonight is cancelled

15/10/2026

A soggy track and field is not good for the feet,
But we are doing our best to save tomorrow nights meet!
The rain has been falling, the ground is wet,
But we aren't ready to cancel things just yet.
Our team will be out checking the weather and track,
To see if the sunshine is bound to come back.
Safety comes first for our athletes and our crew
So tomorrow by 4:30 PM we'll update all of you!
Before you get ready and drive down the street,
Please check back right here for the call on the meet! 🏃‍♂️🌧️
