SunnyKids We’re determined to break the cycle of violence and disadvantage in our community.

For over 20 years, SunnyKids has been dedicated to early intervention, crisis support, and intensive family assistance on the Sunshine Coast through our innovative and evidence-based SunnyKids Village practice model. Our empowerment approach focuses on building resilience and skills in our clients, fostering accountability, and working at a pace that strengthens families over time. We are committed to tackling the growing challenges of youth disengagement from school and family, as well as the rise in adolescents entering the statutory Child Protection and Youth Justice Systems. Through our evidence-based model, we have found that the root causes of these issues often lie within the family and community dynamics, and frequently, it’s other family members who also require support. By working with the entire family, and using our five practice lenses, we are able to uncover and address the deeper, often hidden, issues that affect the adolescent, creating lasting change for all involved.

What an incredible evening!

Last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of coming together with our valued Event Sponsors and Partners at Harry's on Buderim for our Mayoral Ball Soiree.

This night is always a special occasion for us, as it gives us the opportunity to connect with the amazing people whose generosity and support help make the Mayoral Ball such a success. The impact of their contributions extends far beyond the event itself, helping us create meaningful outcomes for those who need it most.

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thank you to Jocelyn Walker for hosting such a wonderful evening.

We can't wait to see you again on Saturday for our Mayoral Ball.

Their story began in Mount Isa in 1971, built on true country spirit and a desire to give local people access to fair, reliable banking. Today, they support more than 100,000 Members with a full range of banking and insurance services – through their branch network, digital banking options and Queensland based contact centre. While Queensland Country Bank have grown and evolved into a Member owned bank, they have kept the best parts of who they are: being genuine, putting Members first and giving back to the communities that support them.

Our third SunnyKids Kart-A-Thon was an absolute winner!

The track was buzzing with energy, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs!

Every lap completed was more than just a race to the finish line. It was a chance to make a real difference for local children and families that SunnyKids support.

A huge thank you to Big Kart Track for hosting this fantastic event, and to every racer, supporter, and corporate team who got behind the cause.

Congratulations to Sam from Brandon & Gullo Lawyers for taking out this year's title and earning some serious bragging rights, followed by Jason and Callan from TLPC.

We're already counting down to next year's Kart-A-Thon and we hope to see you all back on the track!
