๐Ÿ’š Congratulations Georgia Ride! ๐Ÿ’š

We are incredibly proud to share that Georgia has been selected as a 2026 Fever in Time Apprentice Coach.

At just 20 years old, Georgia has already made a huge contribution to netball in our community. Since 2022, she has coached across our 12s, 14s and 18s divisions, has been involved in our Development Program for the past four years, and currently works as a Netball WA Community Coach for the South West region.

This opportunity is a reflection of Georgiaโ€™s passion, dedication and commitment to developing young athletes.

We canโ€™t wait to see what comes next and are so proud to have her representing Margaret River Netball Association.

๐Ÿ‘ Join us in congratulating Georgia on this amazing achievement!

๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’› Supporting Nick & Issy ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Many of our netball family will know Nick and Issy, and some of you may have had the privilege of knowing his beautiful wife, Yvette.

Tragically, Yvette recently passed away, leaving behind her devoted husband Nick and their precious daughter, Issy. As they navigate this unimaginable loss, we want to rally around them in the same way our netball community always does.

To help ease some of the financial burden of funeral expenses and day to day living costs, a GoFundMe has been made. Our hope is that this support will give Nick the freedom to spend precious time at home with Issy, focusing on healing, family, and the difficult journey ahead.

Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will be deeply appreciated. If youโ€™re unable to donate, sharing this post can also make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for helping us wrap Nick and Issy in the love, strength and support of our incredible community during this heartbreaking time.

Hello and thank you to so many who have offered to help out with meals and other practical support forโ€ฆ Andrine Terry needs your support for Nick and Isobelle

๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’› OUR BIGGEST THANK YOU OF THE WEEKEND ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

Last, but certainly not least, we want to give a HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers.

This weekend simply would not have been possible without the amazing parents, managers, coaches, umpires, and supporters who gave up their time to help make it all happen.

From ferrying players between games and accommodation, getting them up and ready each morning, doing hair, organising meals, offering support, and being all round superstars, we appreciate every single thing you did. Your care and dedication allowed our players to focus on enjoying the experience and making lifelong memories.

To our superstar team managers, you truly did it all. The organisation, communication, problem solving, and behind the scenes work that went into the weekend was nothing short of incredible. You made everything seem seamless, even when challenges popped up along the way. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

To our amazing umpires, who travelled to Perth to officiate while also coaching, mentoring, and supporting our players throughout the weekend your commitment to our association is extraordinary.

On behalf of the Margaret River Netball Association, thank you to everyone who contributed to making this championship weekend such a success. Whether you were driving, coaching, managing, umpiring, supporting, organising, or simply lending a hand wherever it was needed, your efforts did not go unnoticed.

The weather may have thrown us a few curveballs, but it didnโ€™t dampen the girlsโ€™ experience because of YOU!

We know our players would love to give each and every one of you a massive hug for everything youโ€™ve done. Thank you for helping create an unforgettable experience for our netballers.

We appreciate you all more than words can say. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’›

The U16 Green Team have plenty to celebrate this year! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

With five of the girls playing their final year and many of them having been with us since the beginning of their U12 netball journey, it has been incredible to watch how much this team has grown and bonded over the years. The friendships, memories, and experiences theyโ€™ve shared together have created a truly special group.

Moving up to Division 3 this year brought its fair share of challenges, but nothing was too much for this team of experienced and determined players. They never gave up, competed hard in every game, and showed resilience and teamwork every time they stepped onto the court.

A huge congratulations and thank you to their coach, Georgia Ride. Not only has Georgia guided these girls over the past few years, but she also completed and passed her Intermediate Coaching Coarse during the Championships weekend, an outstanding achievement and a significant milestone in her coaching journey.
Your future is bright, Georgia, and we canโ€™t wait to see what you tackle next.

To our U16 Green girls, thank you for the memories, the dedication, and the pride youโ€™ve brought to the club. We are so proud of everything youโ€™ve achieved. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’›

The U16 Yellow team faced a tough start to their Fuel to Go Championships weekend, with their captain suffering an injury on Day 1. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Despite the setback, the girls kept their spirits high and tackled every challenge that came their way head-on. While the results on the court may not have gone as they had hoped, their determination, resilience, and positive attitude never wavered.

Most importantly, the team had a blast throughout the weekend, creating memories, building friendships, and learning valuable lessons that will help them grow stronger together as a team. Sometimes the biggest wins come from the experiences that shape us, and this group has plenty to be proud of.

A massive thank you to Russell, our coach extraordinaire. Your dedication, time, and commitment to this team have been second to none. The support, encouragement, and passion youโ€™ve shown these girls throughout the season has not gone unnoticed.

We love you, Russ! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ

The U14 Green girls showed incredible resilience throughout the Fuel to Go Championships! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

The team faced a few challenges before the weekend had even begun, with injuries impacting the lineup. Despite the setbacks, they came out looking fiercer than ever and ready to take on the competition.

Day 1 saw the girls record a win and a loss, but unfortunately another injury added to the challenges they were already facing. The weather then threw a curveball on Day 2, with games abandoned due to the storm, making for a disrupted weekend all round.

Despite everything that was thrown their way, the girls battled hard and finished 5th on the ladder, a fantastic achievement considering the circumstances. Their determination, teamwork, and positive attitude were on display all weekend.

A huge thank you to Jade Walsh for coaching and supporting this team in the lead-up to and throughout the championships, weโ€™re very grateful.

We canโ€™t wait to see this talented group continue to grow and develop as they make the move up to the U16 division next year. The future is looking bright! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Our U14 Yellow Team had an absolute cracking weekend at the Fuel to Go Championships! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Making it through to the finals was a fantastic achievement and a reward for all their hard work throughout the season. While they were also affected by the storm and disruptions over the weekend, the girls stayed focused, locked in, and continued to give it their all every time they stepped onto the court.

Although they were defeated by Eastern Hills in the final, it certainly didnโ€™t dampen their spirits.

A huge Thank You to Annabel, who led this team throughout the carnival. The growth in this group from their very first training session to a grand final appearance has been incredible to watch. Annabel has put in the hard yards behind the scenes, and itโ€™s clear her dedication, guidance, and belief in the girls has paid off.

Weโ€™re so proud of this teamโ€™s effort, determination, and resilience. The future is bright for these girls, and we canโ€™t wait to see what they achieve next. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Our U13 girls came out firing at the Fuel to Go Championships, winning all of their games on Saturday and showing exactly what they were capable of! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Sunday brought some unexpected challenges, with the entire afternoon hub cancelled due to the storm. Despite the wild weather outside, the team made the most of it with a day full of fun, laughs, and team activities.

Heading into Monday, the girls finished 3rd on the ladder. After moving up two divisions, we knew the competition would be tough, but they rose to the challenge and represented our club with pride every step of the way.

This talented group will no doubt come back stronger than ever, ready to chase that top spot at the next carnival! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ

A huge thank you to Kate Oโ€™Leary, who led the girls all weekend while also taking on the enormous task of being the main organiser for the entire trip. Kate is an absolute gem, and we are incredibly lucky to have her dedication, passion, and commitment to our players and club. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Well done, girls weโ€™re so proud of you all! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›
