Cory’s Angels South West: Su***de Prevention & Mental Health

That is a great name for a journal—Anchor Point conveys the idea of staying grounded and safe during a storm, which fits the mining industry perfectly.
Here is the updated community post with the specific name of your journal included.
Community Group Post (Relatable & Peer-to-Peer)
Best for Facebook groups like "FIFO Families," "Mining Mayhem," or local mining town forums.
Subject: Looking for stories of hope for the Anchor Point Journal...
Hey everyone, I’m working on a project called the Anchor Point Journal, which is part of a book series titled "Positive Feeds." The goal is to share true, raw stories of people who have survived their darkest moments and found a reason to keep going.
We all know the mining life can be tough. The isolation, the long shifts, and the "tough it out" culture can make it hard to speak up when things get dark. I want to dedicate a section of the Anchor Point Journal specifically to our industry—showing that it’s okay to not be okay, and more importantly, that there is a way through to the other side.
I’m looking to connect with anyone from the mines who has a survival story they’d be willing to share. Whether it was a conversation with a mate that changed everything, a specific "anchor point" that kept you grounded, or a realization you had on R&R—your story could be the lifeline someone else needs to hear today.
I will handle these stories with total respect and can keep them anonymous if you prefer.
If you’re open to a chat or know someone who might be, please drop a comment or flick me a private message. Let’s help look out for eac

Cory's Angels is making strides in supporting those in need, thanks to the Southwest community's backing. Su***de remains a pressing concern, often shrouded in silence. Our organization is dedicated to providing a supportive environment, where individuals can openly discuss their struggles or simply find companionship. We're located in Margaret River and are open 24/7, staffed by compassionate listeners. To further our mission, we're reaching out to the Southeast community for support, whether through donations, volunteering, or sharing expertise. I'd like to acknowledge the commitment of my team in overcoming obstacles and maintaining a positive atmosphere. With Christmas approaching, we invite you to explore our gift options and support our cause.

Nearly Christmas this will be the first one we have celabrated since Cory left us ! It’s been the hardest nearly 5 years of my life but we must move forward Cory wouldn’t want me to be so sad and miserable it’s hard don’t get me wrong, but since opening Cory’s angels southwest I feel a sence of relief knowing that we are hear to help those in that same place Cory was and to guide them into realising that this world we live in will miss them and they are just as special as anyone other person in this planet . Corys angels is so needed in our community and all over the world so please take the time in your day to remember these people in this world and notice that it is such a huge thing su***de just that it’s not spoken about as much as it should be. We get so busy with just life’s traumas that we don’t think about it . But oh I assure you it’s there it’s very real and all communities need people to take note to help support place like ours or just to take note of your surroundings and the people that walk in your streets . Take care all and please come check out our gift shop our plants and so much more we have some amazing hand made products and art work that would make groovey presents for your family and friends but all so you’d be supporting Cory’s angels to help us support those that needs us . Love to you all thanks like and share our page xx
