LGBTIQA+ youth (13-24yrs) project over 5 weeks starting from tomorrow with Arts Margaret River. It is a workshop series around expressing yourself through art. Some snacks will be provided! And it is totally free for participants!

The project has some really exciting outcomes - think Priscilla bus with a WA Opera singer wearing all the flags created and singing songs developed from the written word contributions at Pride Parade in Perth 2026. The goal of this project is to highlight the voices and experiences of regional LGBTIQA+ youth across WA.

Come have some fun, create some art and be part of something pretty cool!

Margi Pride was co founded in the bonds of friendship with myself and 🥰 From humble beautiful beginnings, we have grown and started to build a community in the South West. The dream was to paint the town in rainbows and the dream will live on with the crew of homies taking over the reigns.

THANK YOU to all the humans who have helped me along the way with this community group. Our queens, kings, he's, she's, theys,thems and all the beautiful humans. The businesses that have sponsored us with safe spaces and prizes. The people that have come along to events. The volunteers that have leant there time and the team members continuing to carry the rainbow torch in Margaret River. AND every single person that comes along to any of the events.

It's been a vibe!

ARTIST CALL OUT - Busselton crew are searching for local community artists. :)

ARTIST CALL OUT

Busselton Pride Alliance is excited to partner with the Old Courthouse Complex Gallery to showcase the voices of LGBTQIA+ artists from the South West.

Our upcoming exhibition, "Expressions of Pride", invites local emerging artists to explore their individuality, creativity, and self-expression in a supportive environment.

We welcome artists working in any medium, and no prior experience is necessary! We’re here to guide you and teach you everything you need to know about exhibiting your work in a gallery setting.

The exhibition will run from 29 October to 11 November as part of the Pride Wellbeing Festival.
