🌟 A reminder to our 2027 Kindy Parents & Carers! 🌟

As part of our Transition to Kindy Program, we are excited to be hosting our 2027 Kindy Parent Information Nights at both of our centres next week! 💛

📍 Sutherland St Kindy
📅 Tuesday, 13th October
⏰ 6:00pm – 7:00pm

📍 Stewart St Kindy
📅 Thursday, 15th October
⏰ 6:00pm – 7:00pm

We encourage at least one parent or carer from each of our 2027 Kindy families to attend. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about what to expect when your child starts Kindy in 2027 and to help you feel prepared for this exciting next step. 🌈

Our friendly staff will also be available on the night to:

👕 Help you purchase Kindy shirts and hats
💳 Finalise your enrolment fee payment
📝 Return any outstanding enrolment paperwork
❓ Answer any questions you may have
🏫 Show you around our Kindy

We are really looking forward to meeting all of our 2027 Kindy families and welcoming you into our Kindy community! 💕 We can’t wait to see you next week!

There’s still time to enrol for 2027! We currently have a few Kindy places available at both of our centres for 2027.

📞 If you are interested in enrolling your child or would like more information, please contact us on 07 4092 2559. Thanks.

💛 Kindy Community Donation Drive 💛

At Mareeba Community Kindy, we believe in teaching our little ones the importance of kindness, generosity and looking after our community.

We’re inviting our kindy families to get involved in a donation drive for Mareeba Community Centre. We would love to collect towels in good condition and pantry items to help support local families in need.

If you’re able to donate, we would be grateful for:

🧺 Towels – clean and in good condition
🥫 Pantry items – non-perishable food such as pasta, rice, tinned goods, cereal, tea, coffee, spreads and other everyday essentials.

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference. It’s also a lovely opportunity to show our children that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

Donations can be dropped off at either of our kindy centres:
📍 4 Stewart Street
📍 7 Sutherland Street

Thank you to our wonderful kindy community for helping us give back to Mareeba Community Centre and support those who need it! ✨

Today is R U OK? Day 💛

Life can be full of wonderful moments, but it can also bring challenges that aren’t always visible to those around us. Sometimes, simply knowing someone cares and taking the time to check in can make all the difference.

At our Kindy, we believe in the importance of community, connection, kindness and looking out for one another; not just today, but every day.

So today, take a moment to reach out to someone in your life. Ask the question, listen with care and remind them that they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.

A simple “Are you OK?” could mean more than you know. 💛
