With the recent upgrade of the TVs at Mareeba Hospital, Mareeba Rotary is feeling a bit nostalgic. Back in 2009, our club sparked Mareeba Friends of the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation and by 2011 we joined forces with our community, local businesses, and organisations—including the Community Bank Mareeba and Dimbulah and the FNQ Growers - to install the original TVs and nurse call stations.

It took many hands and hearts to get it off the ground, and we’re grateful to Mareeba Friends of the Hospital Foundation for keeping the project thriving. A sincere thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Last Wednesday, Mareeba Rotary had the pleasure of hosting the school captains and leaders from across the Mareeba Shire.
