A Little Old-World Charm & Lots of Giggles!

Our seniors headed to the picturesque foothills of Mount Warning for a delightful visit to Flutterbies Cottage Cafe!

Nestled within the grounds of a lovingly restored bakery and butchery, Flutterbies is brimming with old-world charm and the nostalgia of times gone by.

There was plenty of time for posing, a little pretending, and of course, lots of laughter and giggles along the way!

After enjoying a lovely lunch, our group had time to wander through the quaint little village, browse the charming shops and soak up the relaxed country atmosphere.

Another beautiful day had by all!

Adventuring afar this time as we headed over the border into Northern New South Wales for a wonderful day out at Tropical Fruit World in Duranbah!

The group enjoyed a scenic tractor train ride through this working tropical farm, discovering an incredible 500+ varieties of tropical and exotic fruits along the way!

Of course, there were plenty of delicious tastings on offer, giving everyone the chance to try something a little different. And for those looking for something more substantial, the lovely onsite café was the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy a bite to eat.

It’s always wonderful to get out and explore new places, enjoy great company and make beautiful memories together.

Our Activities Team certainly knows how to find the best spots for a day out. 10/10 for this location!

Our seniors headed out to beautiful Coleyville in the Scenic Rim for a visit to Emu Heaven!

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these fascinating birds and discover the range of emu products available. Everyone even went home with a sample bag of emu goodies!

But the real highlight? Getting to see some adorable emu chicks that had recently hatched!

🎄❄️ A White Christmas in Woongoolba! ❄️🎄

Who says you need to travel to a cold country to experience a White Christmas? ☃️

We were surrounded by a beautiful winter wonderland atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for another Christmas in July celebration.

There was Christmas trivia, followed by wonderful live music that had everyone tapping their toes and enjoying the festive spirit. 🎶

And then came the star of the show… a delicious Christmas feast! 🍽️🎄 There was plenty of good food, great company and happy faces all around.

A wonderful day filled with festive fun, music, laughter and Christmas magic — and perhaps just enough snow to make us feel like we were celebrating Christmas in a true winter wonderland!

Christmas in July is always a lovely event to celebrate with our seniors. A great day of Christmas cheer, delicious food and fantastic entertainment at the Waterloo Bay Leisure
Centre.🎅✨

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea before settling in for a delicious hot Christmas lunch — the perfect way to celebrate Christmas in July! 🍽️🎄

And, of course, no celebration is complete without some great entertainment! 🎶💃 There were plenty of smiles, laughter and good times shared throughout the day.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting into the festive spirit, enjoying each other’s company and making some beautiful memories along the way.

What a gorgeous day out at Kooroomba Lavender Farm at Mt Alford! 💜

We headed out west recently for another little adventure and were treated to the most beautiful scenery, fresh country air and, of course, the gorgeous sight and scent of lavender everywhere we looked. 🌿💜

Taking in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying a slower pace for the day along with great company and the warmth of a beautiful fire place.

A wonderful day was had by all of our seniors!

What a fabulous day out last month at the Dayboro Yarn Festival! 🐑💜

We set off for a day of yarn, colour, creativity and plenty of laughs — and Dayboro certainly didn’t disappoint!

There was so much to see, so many talented makers and, of course, plenty of time for a good cuppa and bite to eat at Dayboro Sugar Mill.

We loved visiting a new venue recently - The Blue Fin Fishing Club.

A fantastic atmosphere (including colourful marine life) friendly company and absolutely delicious food enjoyed by all! The meals definitely did not disappoint.

Another fantastic event at Woongoolba Hall — ABBA DOO! 🕺💃

Our seniors had an amazing time singing, dancing and reliving all the best ABBA hits and groovy 70’s classics! 🎶✨ From Dancing Queen to Mamma Mia, the dance floor was full of smiles, laughter and great memories.

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a delicious 2-course lunch shared with wonderful company.
