Members of North East Tri Club had a busy warm weekend.
Saturday was an early swim/paddle at Lake Nillahcootie followed by Mansfield Botanic parkrun. Aquathlon was mentioned but club president Tony felt T1 was just a little too long.
Sunday morning saw club president and treasurer head over to Shepparton for the revived Hexman event. The race hasn’t been held since before Covid, so it was gratifying to represent VicTri and support the Shepparton Tri Club getting this event back on the calendar as a regular event.
Back in Mansfield and the Mansfield Swimming Club and Mansfield Pool were hosting a stroke correction workshop, which was very well attended by enthusiastic local swimmers.
A great weekend of volunteering, participating, trying something new, and being immersed in our great community.
