💍 MMSS September Lunch – A Mock Wedding! 💐

Our September lunch was a little different, with everyone invited to a very special mock wedding at Mid Murray Support Service!

The room was set up for the occasion, and our “bride and groom” certainly looked the part. There was a wedding ceremony, flowers, a beautiful setting and plenty of laughs along the way.
Everyone got into the spirit of the day, with some fantastic costumes helping to make the occasion even more entertaining.

Of course, there was also a delicious lunch and plenty of time to catch up with friends and enjoy each other’s company.

A big thank you to everyone who helped put the mock wedding together and to all those who came along and joined in the fun.

Another great MMSS lunch — good food, good company and plenty of laughs! 💐💍🥂

The movie Song Sung Blue is about a real-life couple from Milwaukee who form a passionate Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder.
It is based on the 2008 documentary of the same name by Greg Kohs, following Mike and Claire Sardina.
Hugh Jackman plays Mike, a recovering alcoholic and mechanic, and Kate Hudson plays Claire. Together, they perform as a "Neil Diamond Experience" rather than a strict imitation act.
The film explores their romance, family life, soaring musical success in Wisconsin, and how they survive severe life tragedies, accidents, and personal crises.
At its heart, the biographical drama is a life-affirming love story about underdogs who chase their dreams of entertaining no matter their age or circumstances.

MMSS OCTOBER BUS TRIP – BLOOMING BEAUTIES

Spring is here, so why not come along for a day out and enjoy some beautiful gardens, good company and a nice lunch?
Our October bus trip is heading to Garden Grove for a day of exploring and enjoying all things garden-related.

🚌 Departure: 9:00am
🌿 Destination: Garden Grove
🍽️ Lunch: The Village Tavern, Golden Grove

It’s a great opportunity to get out for the day, have a look around, enjoy lunch and catch up with friends.
