Both are fine. You do not have to arrive with a neat explanation. A lot of blokes start with something closer to, “Things have been a bit off lately.” A mentor can help you unpack the rest at your pace. Start where you are.: https://www.mentoringmen.org.au/get-a-mentor

Mentoring should fit real life. Catch-ups can happen over coffee, on a walk, by phone or video. The format matters less than having a regular space to talk things through with someone who is there for you.

He’ll listen, ask a decent question and help you work it out. Mentoring is not about someone telling you what to do.

It is a bloke who listens without judgement, asks useful questions and stays alongside you while you work out your own next step.

Work pressure. Relationship strain. Fatherhood. Feeling flat. Wanting direction. Blokes come to mentoring for all sorts of reasons. You do not need a diagnosis or a perfectly worked-out story. You just need to be ready for a decent conversation.

Sometimes things are just a bit off. That’s enough. Life does not have to be falling apart before you talk to someone. If work, relationships, family, loneliness or just the general weight of life is getting on top of you, mentoring can be a practical first step.

Put your hand up for a free mentor.: https://www.mentoringmen.org.au/get-a-mentor

You do not need to be wealthy to make a difference.

You just need to care.

This EOFY, we are asking our community to become monthly donors to Mentoring Men.

$10, $20 or $50 a month might feel small on its own. But when people give together, regularly, it helps us do something powerful.

It helps more men be matched with trained mentors.
It helps create safer spaces for honest conversation.
It helps build a culture where men supporting men becomes normal.

Because every man deserves to know:

“You matter.”
“You are not alone.”
“There is someone in your corner.”

Help us build a nationwide mentoring movement, one monthly gift at a time.

Become a monthly donor before EOFY.

We’re proud to share that Mentoring Men and QENDO are joining forces to launch a new pilot program this June, aligned with Men’s Health Week.

Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain affect 1 in 7 women in Australia, impacting health, relationships, fertility, and everyday life.

And for the men supporting a partner or loved one through it, having someone in your corner can make a real difference.

Through this partnership, specially trained Mentoring Men volunteer mentors will provide free, one-to-one informal mentoring for men supporting someone with endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain.

It’s a safe space to talk things through, ask questions, and navigate the challenges that can come with supporting someone you care about.

Are you supporting a partner or loved one with endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain?

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

EOFY is approaching. If you've been thinking about supporting a cause that makes a real difference, now is the time.

Every donation over $2 to Mentoring Men is tax deductible.

Who do you talk to when life gets heavy?
For too many men, the answer is nobody.

Every week men come to Mentoring Men because they're navigating relationship stress, fatherhood, work pressure, isolation, grief, uncertainty or simply feeling stuck.

Not because they're in crisis.

Because they're human.

This EOFY we're raising funds to help ensure Mentoring Men remains here for the next man who reaches out.

We've already secured $60,000 towards our EOFY target of $150,000. Now we need your help to raise the remaining $90,000.

A monthly donation from as little as $10 per month (around 33 cents per day) can help keep mentoring free and available to the men who need it most.
