Manjimup Photo Club Inc

Manjimup Photo Club Inc We are a small club, WAPF affiliated. Our motto is "We care, share and compare". We meet at the CRC on the second Thursday of every month.

We conduct 2 competitions each year, at the Manjimup Agricultural show and one at the Cherry Harmony Festival. Welcome to the MANJIMUP PHOTO CLUB. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at our NEW meeting room at the Manjimup CRC, 45 Rose Street, MANJIMUP. Arriving at 6.30pm gives you time to put your evening photos onto the laptop for a 6.45pm start. Entry is off Rose Street (to the rear of

the CRC reception area). Confused: don't be... we enter from Rose Street (opposite the Reject Shop). Our aims are to have fun and learn at the same time. To keep us taking photos between meetings, each month has a subject, and you're encouraged at meetings to show two photos on the monthly subject and 2 of anything else you've recently taken. We are a happy group and always like to help each other with our cameras. It doesn't matter what sort of camera you have as its our thoughts that it's the person behind the camera that counts. We hope that you all attend the meetings and find them interesting as we do try to please everyone. To post and be a member on this site you must be a Fully Financial member of our club,
To join the Manjimup Photo Club please request here and one of our members will be in touch with you to help you with any questions you have.

Knowing that photographers, even amateurs, need preparation for their masterpieces and finding the subjects to photograph, we are publishing the Manjimup show classes as early as we can. Please note that as of today, 23 Jan 2026, the Warren District Agricultural Society, has not put up their 2026 schedule for photography and each year it changes slightly. But the Manjimup photo club has done the best they can for you. See the photo for this post.
One main change is the themed class of Horses, celebrating the year of the horse. Also, if you are entering a photo mounted on STIFF card which is acceptable in the children's section, please ensure your card is very stiff and attach your photo with double sided tape rather than glue. Glued photos buckle and present badly. In addition for carded photos you will need to place velcro hooks on the back corners so they can be displayed (our normal photo clips cannot secure carded photos to the display boards).
