It’s a wee bit damp this morning but RD Deb is setup and ready to go! A little bit of water never hurt at parkrun 😉. I do advise against however if you’re composed of sugar 😂

See you at 6:50 for first timers and 6:55 for the main brief.

We're in desperate need for a time lord (time keeper) for tomorrow. All you need is your trusty smart phone. No sonic screw driver, no timey wimey detector required! Free training :)

Morning all, we still need a time keeper for tomorrow and first timers as well. Comment below to help us out.

🎉 NEW YEAR, SAME GREAT PARKRUN! 🎉

What better way to kick off 2027 than with a little extra parkrun magic? 🥳

That’s right, Capestonians! We’re holding a special New Year’s Day parkrun on Friday 1 January, followed by our regular Saturday event on 2 January. Two parkruns in two days! 🏃‍♀️

But before we pop the ch*****ne, we need your help! 🍾

We’re looking to fill our entire volunteer roster for New Year’s Day, so if you’d like to start 2027 by doing something wonderful for your parkrun community, we’d love to have you on board! 💚

Drop us a comment or message to put your hand up.

New year, new memories, same fabulous Capestone crew! 🥰
