Rain didn't stop these two riders from enjoying our first day back this term.

Basketball relay was a favourite, esp with Gerard, he certainly kept us on our toes.
Skylah opted for a trail ride after the activity course ..but with so much rain lately, it was a shorter one than usual.

It was great to catch up with Sandy again too.

Thanks Chris, Kylie,Kerry, Carol, Liz, Sue and Jan for setting up the activity course and helping to make the day a success. Donny was also given a work out by Kylie and Kerry just so he wasn't left out !

Unfortunately, due to only having one active horse in our program, we have delayed the start of Term 3. Mac retired end of Term 2.

With a break in the weather we have finally been able to get to the grounds to continue the good work Sue, one of our coaches, has been doing with a potential new horse, Coby.

Russell came down as well, to see to Coby's teeth, along with Paul, Carol and Jan to assist with an assortment of activities. Another session planned for next week is looking good for a final assessment.

Saying thank you never feels like enough for the time, care, patience and dedication you give to our RDA centre. Every ride day, lesson, horse preparation, arena setup, riders encouraged with a quiet moment of support, makes a difference far greater than you could ever realise.

Our riders gain confidence, independence, strength and joy because of the people standing beside them...and that is you!

Whether you lead a horse, sidewalk, coach, help behind the scenes, care for equipment or simply step in wherever needed, you are an essential part of our centre.

Volunteering takes commitment, compassion and heart and we are so incredibly grateful for the time you give freely to make a difference in the lives of those with a disability.

What a glorious day to enjoy our Easter themed ride day. Riders had to search for items hidden around the activity course that corresponded with their chosen bingo card
Before going home, each rider was presented with an Easter basket full of yummy Easter eggs.
