🌱 A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Meadow Springs Planting Day🌱
With the help of our amazing volunteers we planted around 200 endemic plants across Meadow Springs. Every plant put in the ground today will help create habitat for local wildlife and make our neighbourhood greener and more beautiful for years to come.
Now all that’s left to do is keep our fingers crossed for some lovely soaking rain tonight to help our new plants settle in! 🌧️🤞
A special thank you to:
🌿 Raffaela and the City of Mandurah for providing the plants and mulch.
🥪 Kylee for organising the delicious morning tea and keeping our volunteers well fed.
💚 And of course, every single person who gave up part of their Saturday morning to lend a hand. Community projects like this simply wouldn’t happen without you.

PLANTING DAY REMINDER 🌱
Don’t forget to bring:
🧤 Gloves
🪴 A trowel or small shovel
👕 Clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty!
👉 Don’t worry if you don’t have your own — we’ll have spare gloves and trowels available on site.
🛻 We are also looking for people who can bring:
* Wheelbarrows
* Rakes
* Shovels
to help us spread mulch at the Dornoch site before we head over to Hirono Approach.
Every extra set of hands (and tools!) makes a huge difference 💚

Ready to get creative (without the pressure of being “good” at art )?
Come along to our fortnightly Sh! # Art Workshop — a relaxed, fun night where it’s all about having a go, having a laugh, and connecting with others in the community.

Bunnings BBQ Sunday 24th May

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS – MSRG Bunnings BBQ!

The Meadow Springs Residents Group are firing up the grill to raise funds for our wonderful events and activities, and we need a few extra hands to make the day a success!

Date: 24th May (Sunday)

Location: Bunnings Mandurah (Greenfields)

We have three positions available:

1:00 pm – 4:15 pm

If you can spare a few hours, we’d love your help — whether it’s cooking, serving, or helping with pack-down. It’s always a great day with lots of laughs, good company, and that classic Bunnings-BBQ smell in the air!
