🐍 Heads up, Seascapes – our slithery neighbours are out sunbaking!

We've had a few reports of snakes on the beach path and footpaths lately. With the warmer weather, they're out enjoying the sun just like the rest of us ☀️

A gentle reminder to keep your eyes ahead when you're out walking, running or riding:
🐕 Keep dogs close by
👧 Keep little ones within reach and on the path
👀 Watch where you step, especially in the mornings and late afternoons
🚶 If you see a snake, stay calm, back away slowly and give it plenty of room. Please don't try to move or approach it.

As the weather warms up and we're all out and about more, it's a nice time to check in on a few simple habits that help keep our homes safe

Locking the door behind us, even when we're home.
Keeping the garage down and valuables tucked out of sight.
Taking everything out of the car, even in the driveway.

These little things take a moment, and they mean there's simply less to tempt anyone passing by.

Knowing our neighbours helps too. A friendly hello over the fence goes a long way, because neighbours who know each other naturally look out for one another.
