Congratulations to the guys and their achievements:

Greg - Successful completion - Senior Rescue Skipper.
Jim - Successful completion - Senior Rescue Skipper.
Peter (Dicko) - Successful completion - Night Skipper.

And a huge congratulations to Dicko who also received his National Service Medal - 1st Clasp (25 years) and Jim who received his Volunteer Service Medal (5 years).

This week Greg (Commander) and Nigel (Vice Commander), were privileged to be invited to attend the National Police Remembrance Day Ceremony, representing Marine Rescue Mandurah.

This was a very moving experience and again acknowledged those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Saturday afternoon saw crews respond to a distress call where a jetski rider had come off their jetski.

Due to the rough conditions, the rider had become separated from their vessel and was unable to get back on board.

Thankfully Marine Safety located the rider on a nearby boat, that was moored, and brought the rider back to safety.

MRM were able to locate the jetski and return it back to the boat ramp.
