Enquire about joining us and becoming a volunteer today! Friendship was one of the primary reasons that Rotary was formed and remains a major feature today. Over the last 15 years, over $550,000 and many thousands of volunteer hours have been donated to the local community from our projects and we have had fun doing this.

Rest in Peace Geoffrey

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of renowned aviation journalist and industry commentator, Geoffrey Thomas.

A local to Perth, Geoffrey was a great friend of the Bicton & Claremont Travel family, and someone whose passion for aviation was truly unmatched.

Widely respected for his wealth of knowledge and decades of contribution to the aviation industry, he became one of Australia's most trusted voices on all things aviation, generously sharing his expertise through his writing, commentary and media appearances.

Over the years, Geoffrey joined us for ship inspections, client events and countless conversations over coffee, always with a fascinating aviation story to tell. Whether discussing the latest aircraft developments, the future of travel, or his love of cruising, he had a remarkable ability to make complex subjects accessible and engaging.

His generosity with his time and knowledge greatly appreciated.

We always looked forward to reading his columns in The West and Business News and hearing his perspective on an industry he loved so deeply.

Geoffrey leaves behind a legacy within Australian aviation and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We send our condolences to his family.
