What a night! 🏝️🌺🥥

Our annual trivia and silent auction, our biggest fundraiser of the year was an incredible success for the kinder (and a fab night out for the parents) 🕺

A huge thank you to all of the amazing local businesses and community members who generously donated more than 200 auction items to help raise funds for Sunnyside! 🌞

A special shout out to Slater & Levin for hosting our children’s artwork auction, which alone raised over $10,000 for our kindergarten. What an awesome result! 🫶🏽

Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, bid, used all their trivia skills 🧠 and danced until the lights came on (11pm).

Lastly to incredible fundraising ladies, your hard work, countless hours behind the scenes, and dedication made this fantastic night possible.

This term Sunnyside children have been discussing and exploring our World; who is in our community, places they visit and what families look like. As part of our inquiry we went for a Community Walk. Community Walks provide great benefits for early learners by combining physical activity with real world learning. It helps children learn about their neighbourhood and feel a sense of belonging.
