It was such a relaxed and lovely night, hosted by the wonderful Emily, with a room full of local women coming together to learn, connect, chat and cheer each other on.

Connect Her Tablelands came together last night at Halo Hair and Scalp Lounge in Yungaburra.

Hosted by the beautiful Emily, we spent the evening learning, connecting, laughing and making new friends.

A relaxed space full of local women in business, sharing stories, asking questions and supporting each other.

What to expect at our Promote Her evening.

All our stores in the Kehoe Place Arcade will be open for showcase & purchases if you should find something you like.

Upon arrival you will be greeted with some light nibbles & refreshments & a catch up with new & familiar faces, and time to browse around.

We will then present to you our informative & educational talk, sharing with you what Halo Hair & Scalp Lounge is all about & answer any questions you might have.

We have a lucky door prize to give away to one lucky lady & we simply hope you can all have an enjoyable evening!

If you do intend to come, please if you could get a ticket so we can arrange catering :)

Business owners walked in for a networking night…

Walked out wondering if AI is going to become their new staff member 🤖😂

Such a fantastic night at Connect for Success hosted by the Malanda Chamber of Commerce. Great speakers, real conversations, practical advice and a room full of people genuinely wanting to learn, grow and support each other 🙌

Last night’s 'Connect for Success' at the Top Rail in Malanda was such a good night 🙌

Hosted by the Malanda Chamber of Commerce, the room was full of local business owners, lots of questions, plenty of laughs, real conversations and the kind of honest business chats we all need more of.

Nicky Jurd, Leighton Mcilwain & Susan Yeeles from Rural Financial Counselling Service North Queensland shared so many practical, current ideas and solutions around running a business, managing ourselves better, and keeping up with the ever-changing business world without completely losing the plot 😅

And let’s be honest… AI absolutely stole the show.
There was so much curiosity around how we can simplify parts of our businesses, save time, work smarter and still keep the personal touch and quality that matters.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in putting the night together — and to Top Rail Bistro for hosting. The venue looked fantastic and the food was delicious as always 👏

These kinds of nights are such a good reminder that business owners really do learn best from each other 💛
