Dandelions WA Our aim is simple: "spreading kindness - growing hope" in our beautiful Western Australia, 365 days of the year across all genders and ages.

The seeds of Dandelions WA were sown, like lots of ideas, over a coffee between friends. We recognised a need in this enormous, beautiful state of ours and we knew we could help all year round. Our objective is simple, as a registered charity we look for ways of assisting anyone impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, poverty, drought, fire and/or financial hardship. We welcome you to join us in "Spreading Kindness - Growing Hope".

🎉 IT’S AN EXCITING TIME AT DANDELIONS WA! 🎉

We have some VERY exciting news! 💙

Our very own Vicky has been nominated as a Westfield Whitford City Local Hero and has made it into the TOP 3 FINALISTS! 🥳👏
Because Vicky has reached the top three, Dandelions WA will receive $5,000 — which is already an incredible outcome!
BUT… IT CAN GET EVEN BETTER! 🙌

WOW - Requests for Dandelions "Mum & Bub" bags has tripled in the past few months and the orders keep coming.
So many women in regional and remote WA are needing our help.
Dandelions WA are very proud of the kits we provide to support these mums and their bubs but the current need exceeds our supplies.
Your generosity and help is needed, please.🩵
We are desperately short of Newborn (Size 1) Nappies.

What an incredible day at The Kubby! 💙
Dandelions WA had a fabulous day on Thursday, 13 August 2026, welcoming the amazing teams from Volunteering WA and BHP Western Australia to The Kubby.
It was so wonderful to have some extra muscle power for the day! The guys and girls were absolutely fabulous, helping us lift, move, sort and organise supplies as we get everything ready for the commencement of our Back-to-School 2027 Campaign commencing in September.
Your energy, enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in made such a difference to us. We couldn't have asked for a better team!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and gave their time to support Dandelions WA. You were all incredible, and we truly appreciate your generosity and hard work. ❤️
We are so grateful for the wonderful community support that helps us continue our work supporting children and families experiencing hardship across Western Australia.

Dandelions supports hundreds of agencies, charities and government departments with kits which are individually packed for specific needs. This week backpacks for men and women experiencing homelessness were colled by Indigo Junction for distribution. Basic essentials of hygiene, warmth and sleeping bags included in each kit.
A lot more Winter warmth is needed. Dandelions would be grateful for any donations of sleeping bags.
We are open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 9.00am and 12.00pm.

A fabulous day was had in the kubby yesterday.
Volunteering WA and Woodside Energy joined us to help spread a little kindness.
Together we packed hygiene kits, komfort kits and baby bags. Lots of fun was had performing everyday tasks like wrapping and moving pallets.
We were also spoilt with a magnificent donation of soft toys for babies and children in need.
Thank you to everybody for choosing to spend a day with Dandelions WA.

🩵WOW - So much kindness.
Our depleted baby supplies received a huge boost this week when Karen delivered a magnificent donation of baby items to the Kubby. The New Spring Church Group was formed by Jayne with a passion to support mums and bubs which resulted in the most generous supply of newborn baby items including nappies, wipes, wraps, clothing and much more.
Thank you Jayne and Karen for your kind hearts and passion to help others.

💙 Community kindness and support continue to astound us at Dandelions WA.
How amazing is it that Pillowcases Smiles "Monsters on a Mission:" are donating unique children’s pillowcases to be included in our 2027 school backpacks? These beautiful gifts are another special item that will bring comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging to the children living with disadvantage that we support.
Imagine a child receiving their backpack filled with essential school items, stationery, a lunchbox, a water bottle, dental hygiene supplies and then discovering their very own unique pillowcase, ready to make their first nights of the school year feel a little more special.
We cannot thank Pillowcase Smiles "Monsters on a Mission" enough for their kindness, generosity, and commitment to supporting children.
Thank you for joining the Dandelions community, where we all work together to help ensure every child in WA has the opportunity for education, wellbeing, and good health.
