The committee is very grateful to the Yorke Peninsula Council for Community Grant funds, which have enabled us to replace the old servery in the Pumpkin Kitchen with a modern mouse-proof one. The Pumpkin Kitchen is available for hire, making it the perfect venue for training sessions or family celebrations.

NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS WEEK

This week, we proudly recognise and celebrate our incredible volunteers who help make the Maitland Show possible each year. Without the dedication, generosity, and ongoing support of this wonderful team, our show simply would not be possible.

From the months of preparation leading up to the event, to the hard work on show day itself, every contribution is truly valued and appreciated.

On behalf of the Maitland Show Society, thank you to all of our volunteers for your time, commitment, and support.

To celebrate National Volunteers Week, the Maitland Show Society would like to invite all volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to help support the 2026 Maitland Show, to our annual Show Appreciation Dinner.

This dinner will be held in our Pumpkin Kitchen at the Showgrounds on Tuesday 2nd June, 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to celebrate, reflect, and network with this year's sponsors of the Maitland Show.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Maitland Show Committee and all volunteers for generously dedicating their time to our Show.

It simply wouldn’t be possible without their incredible efforts. Meeting on the second Tuesday of every month, they work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly and to bring our wonderful Maitland Show to life.

The scarecrows are excited to see you all

Entries have been coming in and the excitement is building, the big day is finally here!

Come on down and enjoy a fantastic day out, with plenty of activities and fun for everyone.

Please note: The pavilion closes at 8:30am for judging
