🐰💥 MEET SNUGGLES — CEO OF “THAT’S MINE!” 💥🐰

Looking for a bunny with BIG personality? Well, congratulations… you’ve found him! 😂

Snuggles is a lively, cheeky and incredibly curious boy who has one very important rule in life:

EVERYTHING BELONGS TO SNUGGLES. 👑

Your belongings? His.
His toys? Obviously his.
The dig box? His.
The blankets? Definitely his.
And you? …we’re fairly certain you’re his too! 😂

Snuggles LOVES to chin-mark everything in sight, making absolutely sure the whole world knows what belongs to him. He’s basically building his own little property empire, one chin rub at a time!

This boy is BUSY! 😂 He has places to go, things to investigate and blankets that desperately need digging. He loves exploring, playing, digging in his dig box and rearranging his blankets to his exact specifications.

Snuggles doesn’t really have time to sit around quietly in your lap waiting for pats — there is simply far too much to do! 😂 He doesn’t mind a pat, but he’s usually far too busy exploring and playing to stop and properly appreciate it.

He’s an explorer and a player, not a quiet, settled-on-your-lap kind of bunny. His idea of a good time is being active, investigating his surroundings and keeping you entertained with his antics.

And when he’s not busy with important Snuggles business, he’s always happy to see what you’re up to — especially if food is involved! 🥬😂

🏡 SNUGGLES IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 🏡

Snuggles is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and health checked, and is ready to hop into a loving indoor home of his very own.

He’s looking for a family who will appreciate him for exactly who he is — a funny, energetic, curious and cheeky bunny who wants plenty of space to explore, things to do and a family who enjoys watching his personality unfold.

If you’re looking for a quiet lap bunny, Snuggles probably isn’t your guy.

But if you want a four-legged whirlwind who will keep you laughing, rearrange your blankets, claim your belongings and make your home infinitely more entertaining… Snuggles might be your perfect match! 😂🐰💕

🥔 Seeking Expressions of Interest – Mr. Potato 🥔

Mr. Potato is a 3-month-old fun-loving little boy with speed to zoom, dramatic flops that will make you go “awww”, and enough personality to fill a room!

He chin-rubs absolutely everything because, in Potato’s eyes, everything belongs to him — including you! 😂

He loves to binky, slice the air and spin with his amazing binky techniques. He adores attention, has absolutely no fear and is always ready to make friends.

Potato sees dogs as friends and is quick to engage with them, so close supervision around dogs is essential.

He would love an indoor home where he can be part of the family, soaking up attention and charming you every day with his adorable personality. 💕🐰

🐰 Available for Adoption Sook 🐰

Introducing Sook, a beautiful 9-month-old Flemish Giant. 💕

Sook is a big girl with an equally big personality! While we’re still getting to know all her little quirks, she has already shown herself to be a gentle, curious and delightful rabbit who loves having plenty of space to explore.

🌿 Fresh greens? Yes please! Sook absolutely enjoys her daily selection of fresh leafy greens and, of course, plenty of delicious hay.

🏡 Sook is happiest when she has room to hop, investigate and explore. Her inquisitive nature means she loves checking out her surroundings and making herself at home.

Sook is still settling in, and we’re currently working on finding the right litter tray setup to suit her. She is still learning her litter habits and will need a family who understands that this is a work in progress. 💗

At 9 months old, Sook is a gorgeous young rabbit with a lovely personality that is continuing to shine as we get to know her. We’re looking for a family who will appreciate her beautiful size, gorgeous coat and curious nature, while giving her the time and space she needs to settle in.

Did someone have a hard day? 😂
Don’t worry… Rupert’s got you covered.

Just flop right out, put your paw in the bowl, and forget about your troubles for a little while. 🥰 And remember… tomorrow’s Friday! 🎉

Rupert is a young, curious boy whose personality is still developing. He’s an active little guy with plenty of personality to discover, and clearly knows how to appreciate a good flop when he needs one!

Rupert has shown a very keen interest in bonding with other relaxed bunnies. In his current foster home, he has been making friends with the bonded giants, which has been lovely to see. We think he may really enjoy having a calm bunny companion of his own.

He loves his hay and fresh Asian greens and is a very active boy. He’s also a fantastic jumper, so his future family will need to be prepared for a bunny who enjoys keeping busy and exploring.

💙 Rupert at a glance:
🐰 Young & curious
🌿 Loves hay & fresh Asian greens
💕 Very interested in bunny companionship
🦘 Active and a talented jumper
🥰 Knows how to relax after a busy day!

🐰 SPEAKING UP FOR DOMESTIC RABBITS 🐰

Around 29,000 to 40,000 Victorian households have pet rabbits, with estimates of between 53,000 and 93,000 rabbits living in those homes. They can live for up to 15 years when properly cared for, yet rabbits remain outside the responsible ownership framework that applies to cats and dogs.

Volunteer rescues see the consequences every day: accidental litters, backyard breeding, dumping, neglect and surrender. Kelly’s Rabbit Warren Rescue alone took 199 rabbits from pounds in 2025, while many councils still have no clear surrender or rehoming pathway.

This issue was originally brought to my attention several months ago by local Mt Eliza resident Jodie Smit, who’s been promoting a petition on this issue launched by Nina Pulaska, which already has over 2700 signatures.

I called on the Minister for Agriculture to establish an enforceable statewide framework for domestic rabbits, including considering their inclusion under the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

Practical reforms could include breeder licensing, registration and microchipping, desexing with appropriate exemptions, proper care information when rabbits are sold, and clear pathways for councils and pounds to receive and rehome them.

I have also been proud to support the paper petition calling for domestic rabbits to be added to the Domestic Animals Act.

At the end of the adjournment debate, Minister Ros Spence confirmed that the matter would be referred to the Minister for Agriculture for action.

The little story at the end was written by my daughter when she was six. And the picture and photos show the care children have for them. It is a lovely reminder that, to children and families, rabbits are much-loved companions. They are not wild pests or disposable “starter pets”.

So there needs to be greater protection for domestic rabbits, as well as ‘pocket pets’ more generally.

Please watch and share the video. I will keep pushing until domestic rabbits receive the protection that companion animals deserve. 🐇

🐰💙 DOMESTIC RABBITS IN PARLIAMENT 💙🐰

In case you missed it, Chris Crew MP spoke in Parliament last night about domestic rabbits and the need for greater protection.

We were incredibly proud to have Kelly’s Rabbit Warren Rescue recognised, while also acknowledging the many other rabbit rescues and volunteers across Victoria working tirelessly for these beautiful animals. 🐇❤️

A huge thank you to Chris, Jodie Smit and Nina Pulaska for speaking up for domestic rabbits.

🎥 Please watch and share the video — every share helps keep this important issue moving forward!

💔 VIVI & VIOLET ARE STILL WAITING TO BE ADOPTED… 💔

And this one really hurts.

These beautiful sisters have been waiting for their forever family since July 2024.

After all that time, we finally received a positive adoption application for them. 🥹💚

Everything looked wonderful.

We were SO excited for these girls. We genuinely thought:

“Finally… maybe this is it. Maybe Vivi & Violet are finally going home.” 🥹

But sadly, we've now been unable to reach the applicant.

Messages and emails haven't been returned, and phone calls haven't been answered or returned.

So, after all that waiting… Vivi & Violet are still here. 💔

And honestly, we just can't understand how these two girls are still waiting for someone to call them theirs.

🐇 Vivi is sweet, affectionate and gentle.

🐇 Violet is curious, playful and has just the right amount of cheek!

They're incredibly clean girls, love their enrichment and enjoy keeping themselves busy exploring and playing.

And every morning, they have something VERY important to discuss…

BREAKFAST! 😂🐰

These girls love jumping onto the bed to make sure their humans know breakfast is due. And heaven forbid you're two minutes late! 😂

They are funny, affectionate, loving girls with SO much personality.

They love their food.
They love their enrichment.
They love attention.
They love being together.

And they're so ready to have a family of their own. 💚

They've already spent so much of their lives waiting.

They shouldn't have to keep wondering when their turn will come.

We know there is someone out there who will see these two beautiful girls and think:

“How have they been waiting this long? They're coming home with me.” 🥹💚

🏡 Could you be the family Vivi & Violet have been waiting for?

Their next application could be the one that changes everything.

Let's help Vivi & Violet finally find their forever family. 💚🐇

🐰💙 MEET PAVLOVA — THIS BIG BOY IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 💙🐰

Meet Pavlova, a gorgeous Flemish Giant with a big personality, an even bigger appetite, and a heart ready for his forever family! 🥰

Pavlova was abandoned outside a vet clinic at Easter and has been patiently waiting for his forever home.

And if there’s one thing Pavlova is passionate about… FOOD! 😂🥬

Any rustling packet immediately has his full attention. You could be opening absolutely anything, but Pavlova will be right there to investigate — just in case it contains something delicious! 👀🤣

As a Flemish Giant, Pavlova needs lots of space to stretch out and enjoy life. He particularly loves finding a sunny spot by the window and stretching out in the sunshine. ☀️

Pavlova would love a quiet adult home where he can relax, enjoy plenty of space and have lots of toys and enrichment to keep him occupied. Ideally, his forever home would also have a bunny companion, as he really enjoys having company.

He prefers to keep his paws firmly planted on the ground and is happiest when life is calm, comfortable and filled with the things he loves — sunshine, space, enrichment and FOOD! 🥰

🐰 Rabbit Issues to be Raised in Victorian Parliament

Tomorrow night, Wednesday 26 August, the rabbit issue will be raised in the Victorian Legislative Assembly.

Chris Crewther MP will be speaking on the issue during the evening sitting, expected to be around 7.00–7.30pm, subject to any delays in proceedings.

This is an important opportunity for rabbits to have their voices heard at Parliament and for the issues surrounding domestic rabbits to receive attention at a state level.

🐰 You can watch the Legislative Assembly sitting live online:
https://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/watch

We encourage our supporters to tune in and show your support for stronger recognition and protections for domestic rabbits in Victoria.

Every voice matters. Every rabbit matters. 🐰❤️
