We’re proud to launch the Rural Pulse Project — an initiative dedicated to delivering essential medical equipment and supplies to under-resourced rural hospitals in Sri Lanka.
🤝 In partnership with Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment (RARE) – Central Region, and supported by the Hospital Services Council (Sri Lanka), this project focuses on improving healthcare access where it’s needed most.
🏥 Hospitals in Focus:
• Divisional Hospital Narawelpita (Southern Province)
• Base Hospital Mahiyanganaya (Eastern Province)
• Additional rural hospitals in need
🚑 Extended Impact:
Together with Rotary Club Flemington Kensington and Rotary Club of Colombo, we are also sending 10 hospital beds to the Emergency Department of Colombo North Teaching Hospital (Ragama).
💡 Why This Matters
Many rural hospitals in Sri Lanka operate with extremely limited resources. We’ve already secured vital medical supplies — including hospital beds — that can significantly improve patient care.
