KidsXpress is excited to be part of this year's Granny Smith Festival, and we'd love to see you there!

We'll be joining the celebrations in Eastwood, so if you're heading along with family or friends, make sure you stop by our stall to say hello, meet some of our team and learn more about how KidsXpress supports children's mental health through expressive therapy.

It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with our local community, and we're looking forward to being part of the festivities!

The Sydney Marathon ballot is now open!

Today is World Mental Health Day!

This year's national Mental Health Australia campaign, Together We Thrive, reminds us that connection, belonging and community are important foundations for good mental health.

For children, feeling safe, understood and supported can make a significant difference to how they navigate life's challenges.

At KidsXpress, connection is at the heart of what we do. Our therapists and consultants work with children impacted by trauma, adversity and mental health challenges, using art, music, drama, movement and play to help them express their feelings and work through difficult experiences.

We also know that children don't face these challenges in isolation. That's why we work alongside families, educators and communities to build stronger networks of support around every child.

Whether it's taking the time to listen, checking in or helping a child feel understood, the connections we create can have a lasting impact.

This World Mental Health Day, let's recognise the important role we all play in supporting children's mental health. Because together, we thrive.

At KidsXpress, we see every day just how important early mental health support and connection can be for children.

Across our centres, schools and communities, our therapists and consultants bring extraordinary skill, care and creativity to their work, meeting each child where they are. They listen, adapt and work alongside families and educators to create environments where children feel connected, supported and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

The impact extends well beyond the therapy room. It can be seen in the relationships built, the confidence gained, the challenges worked through and the greater understanding created around the children we support.

This year’s Mental Health Month theme, A Little Connection Goes a Long Way, reflects something we see in our work every day: the important role relationships and connection can play in supporting children’s mental health.

This October, we’re proud to celebrate our Clinical Services team and everyone across KidsXpress who helps create stronger connections and better mental health for children.

A colourful thank you to Faber-Castell Australia for their generous donation of stationery items to KidsXpress!

Art and creativity are an important part of our expressive therapy programs, giving children different ways to explore and express their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

These wonderful resources will be put to good use by children participating in our programs, and we’re incredibly grateful to Faber-Castell for supporting our work through this generous in-kind donation.
