🚴 Bike2Work Day provided a great opportunity to celebrate cycling as a practical, healthy and sustainable transport option.
Hosted at Macquarie UBar, the event brought together members of the Macquarie Park Innovation District community who are helping make active transport part of everyday life. A big thank you to the UBar team for opening early. The egg and bacon rolls certainly helped fuel the morning. ☕

As one of Australia’s most sustainable CBDs, MPID is proud to support initiatives that encourage more sustainable ways of moving around our city.
 
If you’re a regular rider and interested in connecting with other cyclists across the district, let us know. We’d love to explore regular meet-ups and help build a stronger cycling community in Macquarie Park.

PADDY'S MARKETS POP-UPS BEGIN IN MACQUARIE PARK ON TUESDAY!

Paddy’s Markets will be bringing their Pop-Up concept to Macquarie Park starting from Tuesday!

They will be located in Giffnock Lane and operate bi-monthly with the first event date happening on Tuesday, 10 June from 11am.

The food trucks will trade from 11am to 6pm to cater to anyone after lunch and dinner/post work. There will be a mix of 6-10 food trucks and operators located at each event including various styles of seating like picnic tables & umbrellas, a live musician and portable toilets.

Autumn Markets and Movie Cancelled
Due to the heavy rainfall forecasted to continue this week, the Macquarie University Autumn Markets and Movie screening events have been cancelled. The Markets will return in August for the Winter Markets and Movie seasonal event.

Enjoy live music, eat, shop and chill. Come and join us at the Macquarie University Markets on the 22nd of May.
