The purpose of the Foundation is to help those with cancer who through personal circumstances need financial, emotional or medical support.

The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation is a charity working to help those with cancer. It was formed in the memory of Lynne King, who as a nurse spent much of her life caring for those with cancer. You can read her story by clicking on our website. The charity is registered with the Australian Taxation Department and all donations of AUD $2 or more are fully tax deductible. However, 100% of funds donated go direct to helping those in need, to live with cancer. All those associated with the foundation, including the trustees, are volunteers and receive no payment, either direct or indirect, for their services. This web site is being developed and maintained by volunteers. Such is our commitment to helping those embarking on a journey that we are all too familiar with. If you are in the Lane Cove area in the month of March pop in to Grill’d restaurant Lane Cove and add your token to our fundraising jar.
We are taking part in their local matters program where the restaurant will donate a share of $500 amongst 3 community groups. Customers who make purchases in store or online are asked to add a token to the jar they would like to support. At the end of the month the group with the most tokens will take home the largest share of the money. Every token counts. Good excuse to have a burger for lunch! Thank you for your ongoing support.

We are so excited to announce that The Epping Club has selected the Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation to once again be a recipient of a grant from the 2023 ClubGrants Program. The ClubGrants scheme is a shared State Government-Club Industry Program, funded by a 2.25% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the State Government to those registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million per year. The Epping Club has always been one of our biggest supporters and a huge supporter to many clubs and charities in the community. We couldn’t do the work we do without their support. This money will enable us to continue our Ongoing Cancer Care Funding Scheme and help as many people with cancer as we can. (Photo flashback to 2019).
