The storm yesterday took another casualty! The pathway is cleared so everyone can get through & the council is going to come out again & fix up the rest in the coming days. Thanks to our lovely community who helped out keeping the busy pathway clear & safe 👏👏

😱 Oh Dear 😱
There is a little chaos in the lane way today! The dry 🌀🍃 conditions have made the tree unstable & it couldnt hold on any more!
Thanks to one of the neighbours in the hood who helped 💪 some branches out of the way so that people can pass & it is somewhat safe👷 The 📞 has been made to the council to come & remove the rest & we have wrapped some safety barrier around it to hopefully keep everyone safe till then 🤞

The garden took a bit of a beating but it will all grow back eventually 🌸🙏🌿

New stuff in the Laneway today! A fancy new sign & some fab art works 🤩Thanks to the Mackay Mens Shed& the wonderful Laneway community who made this happen! Artworks by the crew at Art Haus by Kylie Ferriday - what a talented group of young people!

🔹 🔹 Have you seen the new “safety guides” in the laneway? Double purposes- protect people from the fence on the corner & the plants from the people as they occasionally crash in to the fence when they take the corner to quick 😅

Thank you to our lovely neighbours who cleared the laneway at the bottom end 💚

They even found one of the long lost path lights that Darren donated, which luckily enough was still working & got put back up.
