🔧 Makerspaces Mackay Update 🔧

This year brought some big changes for our community — after leaving our previous venue in May, Makerspaces Mackay has continued to operate thanks to the support of our dedicated volunteer committee and members.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be holding public meet & greet sessions in a local public space, making it easier for new and returning makers to connect, share ideas, and get involved.

📅 Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also be held in September at a public location (date and venue to be confirmed). This will be a great opportunity to learn about the direction of Makerspaces Mackay, ask questions, and contribute to shaping the future of our not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation.

Makerspaces Mackay remains committed to our mission: fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation for all in our community. Whether you’re a past supporter, current member, or someone curious about what we do, we’d love to see you at an upcoming meetup.

Makerspaces is looking for options for a new location, unfortunatly we have no choice but to move, if you know of a secure location for us to move our not for profit community group to, we need to hear from you now.
