🚑🩹 First Aid in Action! 🩹🚑

Today, our Scouts and Venturer Scouts developed valuable first aid skills through hands-on activities covering asthma, burns, anaphylaxis, and bites & stings.

One of the unique strengths of Scouting is learning by doing. Rather than simply reading about emergency situations, our youth members worked together to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios, building confidence and preparing themselves to assist others when it matters most.

Through teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, our Scouts and Venturers supported one another as they practised assessing situations and providing appropriate first aid responses. These experiences not only develop important life skills but also help foster leadership, resilience, and a commitment to helping others.

A big well done to everyone who participated and embraced the challenge today. The skills learned could one day make a real difference in someone's life! 👏💙

🚑🩹 急救技能大挑戰！🩹🚑

今日我哋嘅童軍同深資童軍透過一系列實用嘅急救活動，學習咗哮喘、燒傷、過敏性休克（Anaphylaxis）以及昆蟲叮咬同螫傷等急救知識。

童軍運動其中一個獨特嘅方法，就係「從實踐中學習（Learning by Doing）」。與其單靠書本學習，童軍成員透過模擬情境、親身體驗同實際操作，將理論知識轉化為實用技能，建立信心，為將來有需要幫助他人作好準備。

活動期間，大家透過團隊合作、有效溝通同共同解決問題，一齊練習評估現場情況及提供適當嘅急救處理。呢啲寶貴經驗唔單止提升急救技能，更培養咗領導能力、抗逆力同服務他人嘅精神。

🏕️ Scouts and Venturer Scouts put their knot-tying skills into action today as they worked together to pitch a ridge tent.

🪢 Clear communication, teamwork and coordination were key to getting the job done. It was great to see everyone supporting one another while learning practical outdoor skills.

Today our Scouts & Venturers were put to the test with the NATO phonetic alphabet. Through a series of fun challenges and team activities, they practised sending and receiving messages clearly and accurately. Along the way, they discovered how important communication is—especially when instructions need to be understood quickly, carefully and correctly.

The activities also encouraged teamwork, active listening and problem-solving, as Scouts worked together to pass messages, avoid mistakes and support one another. A fun and practical way to build confidence while learning skills that are useful both in Scouting and everyday life. 👏📻

今日我哋嘅童軍接受咗 NATO phonetic alphabet 嘅挑戰！透過一連串有趣嘅小組活動同任務，大家練習咗點樣清晰、準確咁傳遞同接收訊息，亦體會到良好溝通嘅重要性——尤其係喺需要快速、細心同準確理解指示嘅時候。

活動當中，童軍亦學習到團隊合作、專心聆聽同解難能力。大家互相配合，努力將訊息正確傳達，減少錯誤，同時互相支持。今次活動既有趣又實用，令大家喺歡樂中建立信心，學習到喺童軍同日常生活都非常有用嘅技能。👏📻

Four of our Scouts took on an exciting cycling adventure, riding from the Scout Den all the way to South Bank via the Veloway 1 bike trail 🚴‍♂️

The journey was definitely challenging, with varying elevations pushing their endurance and determination—but that’s what made it even more rewarding! Along the way, they demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and a great sense of adventure.

Well done to our Scouts for embracing the challenge and making it such a memorable experience 👏

我哋四位童軍今次參加咗一個充滿挑戰嘅單車活動，由童軍團部出發，經 Veloway 1 單車徑踩到去 South Bank 🚴‍♂️

沿途有唔同高度起伏，對體力同意志都係一大考驗，但正正因為有挑戰，完成之後更加有成功感！過程中亦展現咗佢哋嘅堅持、團隊精神同冒險精神。

恭喜我哋嘅童軍成功完成今次難忘又有意義嘅體驗 👏
