Welcome to Lutana Village Community Hall
For more than 100 years, Lutana Village Hall has been at the heart of our community.
Built in 1923 by the Electrolytic Zinc (EZ) Company as part of the original Lutana Village, the Hall has welcomed generations of locals. It has been a place for celebrations, meetings, dances, community groups, a free kindergarten, elections, and countless moments that have shaped the history of Lutana.
Today, we’re working to preserve this unique piece of Tasmanian history while bringing it back to life as a vibrant community space for everyone. Our vision is to restore the Hall, celebrate its rich heritage, and create opportunities for local events, activities, and connections for generations to come.

Did you know? 🤔
The Lutana Free Kindergarten first started at the Lutana Village Hall in 1924 and finished in 1998.
Each year the Kindergarten ran a fundraising fair on one of the Saturdays in May. The sign shows the event with the actual day as a changeable number to allow for the different day for each year.
Do you know of anyone who was a part of this Kindergarten or connected to the Lutana Hall?
