☀️ 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 ☀️

A huge thank you to the Rosemary Bryant Foundation for joining us at this year’s South East Field Days and providing skin checks to our attendees across the two days. 💙

The number of skin checks carried out — and the findings from those checks — really highlight just how important it is to have your skin regularly checked.

What makes this even more meaningful for our committee is that 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 who had their skin checked. Both had skin cancers detected and subsequently removed.

Neither of them may have known there was anything to be concerned about without taking the time to have a check.

It’s a powerful reminder that skin cancers don’t always look obvious, and early detection can make all the difference.

Following the return of our Fashion Parade at this year’s event, we’re planning something even bigger and bolder for 2027! 🧵✂️👗

We are in the planning stages of launching a 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to celebrate local creativity, sustainability, and upcycled style. But before we finalize the details, we want to gauge community interest!

Whether you’re a student maker, a passionate thrifter, or an aspiring designer, we want to give your repurposed creations the spotlight they deserve.

🚜 Throwback Time! 🚜

A huge thank you to the Clothier family from Woolumbool Studs for sharing these fantastic photos of the Tractor Pull from the late 1980s!

It looks like everyone was having an absolute blast, with plenty of action and a great crowd soaking it all in. And how about that viewing platform on top of the truck in the background? Different times, that's for sure! 😄

These photos bring back some great memories and show just how popular the Tractor Pull was. It certainly gets us thinking... how good would it be to see the Tractor Pull make a return to our event?

Saturday 27th September sees the return of the Lucindale Working Dog Auction at Yakka Park.

Held annually in conjunction with the Lucindale Lions Club, the auction has become a popular event for producers, working dog enthusiasts and the wider community alike. Dog demonstrations will run throughout the morning before the auction gets underway after lunch.
