We are the representative body for the local business community in Loxton, dedicated to supporting local and promoting our vibrant town. About the Chamber

The Loxton Chamber of Commerce is a well respected membership based, not for profit organisation. Our strong community network represents over 100 businesses of all sizes, across most industry sectors with one com

mon goal; to promote and further develop the Loxton business community to benefit the generations of today and tomorrow. Our successful alliance has enabled us to stimulate our local economy through a successful and positive television campaign and implement business to business collaborations, special events and shopping promotions. These key marketing initiatives help raise our profile and increase visitation to our town which benefits our businesses and encourages confidence amongst the local community. We employ a Business and Events Manager to source new members, service existing members, provide resources and support for best business practice, identify opportunities and foster existing events. As a member of the Loxton Chamber of Commerce you will form part of a motivated, passionate and resourceful group of people who are leading the way and serious about contributing to the economic environment and growth of Loxton. 📰 Today's article about the recent visit by the Minister for Small & Family Business is a valuable reminder of the importance of strong business networks, local advocacy and ensuring regional voices are heard.

🥩 A great local butcher is such an important part of any regional town. They’re the business that know their customers by name, provide quality local produce, support community events and sporting clubs and become a trusted part of daily life for so many locals.

For 25 years Hygienic Meats has been doing exactly that 🙌 Congratulations Ash and Misty (if you don't recognise these young fresh faces 😉) on this fantastic milestone.

It was fantastic to welcome SA Minister for Small & Family Business Nadia Clancy MP to Loxton today!

🥐 The morning started with a breakfast event at The Precinct Loxton bringing together local business owners, industry reps and support organisations to talk about opportunities, challenges and future of doing business in regional communities.

Then the Minister walked through East Tce, talking directly with local business owners. It was great for her to experience our amazing business community and understand why Loxton is renown for a great place to do business 👊🏼

She certainly embraced our ‘shop local’ philosophy by supporting a number of them during her visit 🛍️ 😉

But after hours? Many of our local business owners are also coaching the kids, volunteering at community events, sitting on committees, responding to emergencies and helping to keep local clubs and organisations alive. 🙌

📣 Our neighbours at the Waikerie Business Alliance are hosting the 2026 Regional Mainstreet Forum on 24th and 25th May.

Held at the Waikerie Hotel Motel, the Forum will bring together an impressive line-up of local, national and international speakers to explore topics including innovation, street design, marketing, branding and strategies to help small towns thrive. 🙌

There will be workshops, networking opportunities and practical insights for business owners, councils, economic development professionals and anyone passionate about the future of regional mainstreets.
