Loxton Mardi Gras Loxton celebrates its 69th Mardi Gras on 28th February 2026/1st March 2026 with the theme “Disney“.

Loxton celebrates its 66th Mardi Gras on 25th & 26th February 2023 with the theme “Harvest”. The Mardi Gras is a family fun day, with money raised going towards community projects. Highlights on the Saturday include a pageant of floats (around 50-60), food and market stalls, children’s entertainment, band performances and the crowning of the ambassadors. xton Pioneer Playground and the Loxton Historical Village. Sunday morning attend the Appreciation Service at the Rotunda acknowledging volunteers also highlighting a World War II nurse commemorated by a local street name, and various displays.
