Yesterday’s ‘Try ‘n Fly in July’ was very successful. Nearly 50 people took to the air for a fly with a local pilot, some for the first time in a small aircraft. So many happy people experienced the thrill of flight!!

Today we say goodbye to our Loxton legend, Howard Hendrick. He was an amazing man with great memories of flying and he could chat to anyone of any age and find them interesting. We will miss him greatly around the Loxton Aero Club as he passed on so much wisdom to pilots young and old. RIP Howard.

Photo shows Howard with Steve Johnson from Hindmarsh Island and his Tiger Moth - Howard learnt to fly in a Tiger Moth during WWII.
