CUBOREE 2026

A massive BRAVO to all of our Cubs who attended the 5-day Cuboree at the beautiful BP Park, Samford!

Over the course of the camp, our Cubs truly shone—tackling challenges, embracing new experiences, and celebrating their achievements with both grace and humility. It was incredible to watch their confidence grow and their teamwork come to life.

A very special Happy 10th Birthday to Luca, who spent his big day at camp, surrounded by his Unit and celebrated in true Cuboree spirit!

We’re already looking forward to the next Cuboree—more adventure, more challenges, and more opportunities for our young people to grow, connect, and thrive.

Great story in this week's Independent.
This is a great example of youth lead. How one scouts idea has turned into an annual event. Great work everyone.

Lowood and Glenore Grove Scout Groups joined forces on Tuesday, March 3, for a toad hunt at Jensens Swamp Environmental Reserve in Lowood, turning their Clean Up Australia Day contribution into a youth-led environmental initiative. Full story in comments.

What an incredible afternoon we had with the Lowood S.E.S!

What a generous, well-equipped and organised group of gentlemen who gave their time so freely to teach, train and challenge the minds of our Den’s youth members.

A sincere thank you to Paul, Tom, Matt and Danny—whose bravery, passion and big hearts truly won over the Lowood Scout Den. Your dedication to our community does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Tonight our Joeys, Cubs and Scouts were honoured with a visit from Leeroy, the president of the Lowood RSL in honour of Remembrance day. Leeroy shared some information with the youth about World War One and Two before the sections broke off to participate in Remembrance Day activities. It was a great evening spent together to honour those who have fallen for our country.
