🥾⛰️🌿 What an incredible achievement for our Lowood Cub Scouts! 🌿⛰️🥾
Yesterday, our Cubs took on a challenging adventure, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones and discovering just how much they’re capable of!

Together, they conquered an impressive 12.2 km hike in just 4.5 hours, clocking up approximately 17,500 steps and tackling over 300 metres of elevation gain! 💪🔥
It was a fantastic test of endurance, resilience, determination and teamwork, and every single step was an opportunity to grow, support one another and embrace the challenge.

We are SO proud of these young adventurers for stepping up, digging deep and showing what it means to be a Cub Scout! 🌿👏

A massive achievement and an adventure to be proud of! 🐾💚

🌏📱⚜️ **JOTI 2026 – Sleep Is Overrated When You’re Making Friends Around the World!** 😂🌍

What a weekend our Joeys, Cubs and Scouts have had participating in **Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)!** 🎉

Our crew connected with Scouts from an incredible **21 different countries!** 🤯🌎 That’s a whole lot of new faces, different accents, interesting conversations and international friendships! 💚🤝

But let's talk about the dedication… 😂 These Scouts were up at ALL hours, taking calls at **MIDNIGHT and even 3 AM!** 🌙📞 Forget beauty sleep — there were Scouts to meet, countries to discover and conversations to be had! 🥱🤣☕️

We're not sure how many of them will be catching up on sleep this week, but we know one thing… they certainly made the most of this amazing opportunity! 🙌

A huge well done to our Joeys, Cubs and Scouts for getting involved, stepping outside their comfort zones and showing that no matter where you are in the world, **Scouting brings us together!** ⚜️💚

Small but mighty!!!

This weekend, our three Scouts attended the Atkinson District Scout Camp and walked away with not one, not two, but THREE wins! 🏆🏆🏆

Competing against two other groups from across the district, they put their skills to the test in campsite setup, cooking and skills and came out on top in all three categories 🎉

We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, teamwork, determination and skills they demonstrated throughout the weekend. What an amazing achievement!

A huge congratulations to our three Scouts — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💚⚜️

Thankyou Care4esk for such a beautiful day out spotting wild and healthy Koalas out by Lake Wivenhoe. So many!
Your generosity in supporting young people to learn about our incredible wildlife, is ever so beautiful.

Thank you to the wonderful parents who came along and enjoyed a gorgeous hike through our local bushlands too, where we were lucky to spot pretty Redback Fairy Wrens dancing about and even an egg-filled nest at eye level! How lucky were we!

Scouting adventures are all about the great outdoors, and mother nature truly showed off today!

A truly unforgettable experience! ✈️
Our Den was fortunate enough to take part in Air Activities in Toowoomba, and what an adventure it was!

The day began with youth members exploring the world of aviation through drone flying, flight simulators, and hands-on aircraft building activities. Then came the highlight of the day—a scenic flight over the Toowoomba Ranges.

Seeing the patchwork of farms, winding roads, and rugged landscapes from above gave our Cubs a whole new perspective on the region we call home. There were plenty of smiles, wide eyes, and excited chatter both during and after the flight.

Opportunities like these help our young people build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of adventure while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this incredible experience possible. We certainly walked away feeling very blessed. 🌿✈️
