The lads have been busy this week making Orchid pot display stands, scrap wood challenge.

This lovely Thai Tead bed spent 30 yrs travelling the world with its owners.
I repaired one of the up rights.
The aim is to cut down the base to about 600mm. Re attach the legs and brackets to it again and convert it to verandah chair. I think there some cushions at home to finish it off nicely

My mate D 2 got these for me. I knocked them apart, a day in vinigar, wire brushed, re mounted the handles after a cleaning sand, re wedged them tight. I'll let the glue dry tomorrow, then they can sit in oil for a bit to bring up the spine in the wood. I ll enjoy forging with these.

Re mounted this lovely hoe, the lady is 90 and avid Gardiner, with extreme arthritis is this light weight tool will be a efficient tool for her to use.

Peter and Mick are rebuilding two more rocking horses. They had a lot of timber replaced as it was rotten. But they are templates for future projects.
