Small and large-scale grants are available from Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning to community groups seeking funding for conservation and habitat restoration projects across Victoria.

Hi LorneCarers

As has become our usual practice in August, we will be working with the Friends of Queens Park, Lorne on Sunday. Our GORCC friends Rachael and Kim have already been actively removing weeds in Queens Park in recent months, so at least one of them will be there to help us focus our efforts so that they will be most effective.

So we will meet in the car park near Teddy's Lookout at 10.00am on Sunday 18 August 2019.

A LorneCare BBQ will follow at about 12.30pm.

Welcome to LorneCare!
We are a group of volunteers passionate about Lorne's natural environment. Join us for our monthly working bees on the third Sunday of each month at 10am followed by a BBQ. We work along the foreshore from North Lorne to the St George River and Queens Park, and also conduct an annual Lorne foreshore clean up on New Year’s Day.
