Last Patrol for the Season! 🌊
A huge thank you and congratulations to our Club Captain Nick Murnane. Your leadership, commitment and steady presence have made a genuine impact both on and off the beach. You’ve led by example every step of the way, setting the standard for others to follow.
From your early days in Nippers through to SRC, Bronze, and Silver, your journey reflects an incredible dedication to the club. Serving as Patrol Captain (2011–2015), contributing through training and assessing, instructing at Bronze and Silver Camps, mentoring as an Adult Bronze Instructor and representing the club in IRB racing, your contribution has been huge.
A special mention to your Sharkey Award in 2017 — a well-deserved recognition of your impact and commitment.
Thank you for the time, energy and passion you’ve given to the club and the committee. Enjoy a well-earned break and good luck in all future endeavours!

End of Season Awards Night - The Last Supper
Easter Sunday 2026 | From 5:30pm

After a huge summer on patrol and an exceptional year for the club, it’s time for one final celebration.

Join us for The Last Supper — our end-of-season awards night and a chance to bring the whole club together, recognise our members, and celebrate the people who keep Lorne Beach safe.

All members are welcome, with active patrolling lifesavers especially encouraged to attend.

As a thank you for everything you’ve contributed this season, this event is completely FREE for all members.

What’s On

A relaxed, social night with great club energy:

• 5:30pm – Doors open
• Buffet-style dinner
• Free beer, wine and soft drink
• Awards presented throughout dinner and dessert, including:
– The Sharkey – Club Person of the Year
– Powercor Volunteer of the Year
– And more celebrating a huge year for the club
• Live music from Bone Idol playing into the night
• Last drinks at 10:45pm
