A great turnout for our annual Handover lunch. Thanks to PDG Ruth Pearsons, accompanied by Colin, for officiating and also inducting our new member. Thanks also to all who participated in the more lighthearted moments of the afternoon.

After eighteen years of dedication to our club, Lion Deb is moving on to a different Lions club closer to her home. Deb has served in several roles within the club, most notably as Club Secretary multiple times. While we are sad to lose her, we have no doubt that her new club will be very happy to welcome her into their team.

Deb was farewelled with gifts and a special cake and made a farewell speech.

Thank you Deb for everything you’ve contributed over many years and we wish you all the best for the future.

At our recent meeting, David Jarman provided an informative and engaging presentation, sharing some of the secrets of North Terrace. His extensive knowledge and expertise were clear, despite his claims of it being just a hobby! We appreciate his insights and look forward to discovering more. A great few days at the Multiple Districts Convention at the Adelaide Showgrounds last weekend. LEHP had a great booth as did Linda with number plates and both attracted lots of attention and related sales. Thanks to all involved.

It’s nearly time! Loads of new stock from a house clearance to see this Saturday. Been busy sorting it all out and still a long way to go but there’s lots on the shelves already so don’t miss out.

Make a note - this Saturday’s Lions Club garage sale is definitely not to be missed!
Due to an excess of stock, we will have a dedicated area where everything will be FREE! There’ll be a bit of everything so come on down for a browse - and of course, we’ll be selling stuff as well!

Several of our club members assisted Bunnings staff at their annual Family Easter Evening recently. It was extremely busy but lots of fun (and also lots of chocolate thanks to a visit from Easter Bunny!).
