Barcoo Shire Council is seeking a Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support sustainable service delivery across one of Australia’s most unique regions.

Reporting to the Director of Community and Corporate Services, you’ll provide strategic financial leadership with a strong focus on ⤵️

🔹Asset accounting and asset management reporting
🔹Grant funding management and acquittals
🔹Financial reporting, budgeting and advice
🔹Insurance coordination
🔹Team leadership and development

👉 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂
You’ll bring experience or knowledge in local government finance, particularly asset management and grant acquittals. Experience with Practical (PCS) is highly regarded. ✅

CPA/CA (or working towards) is desirable, along with strong leadership, communication and the ability to thrive in a remote environment.
