Tasmania is warming and drying. Most people still think it won’t affect them.

It already is.

When conditions are drier for longer, the impacts don’t stop on farms. They move through businesses, households, and everyday life across our community.

So what does that mean for the Northern Midlands?

These free Connected Futures workshops are your chance to find out — in a practical, local, and community-led way.

Hear what’s happening, share your experience, and explore how we prepare for climate change and drought together.

The stronger our understanding, the stronger our region becomes.

Some great products at a fabulous price

A reminder for folks in Tassie who are keen to buy bulk processed h**p materials that we will be opening between 9am-2pm TOMORROW - Saturday 12th April - at X-H**p HQ, 211 Green Rises Road, Cressy, Tasmania.

This is an opportunity for those wanting larger quantities of loose mulch to buy this awesome product at a significantly discounted price from the small retail bags currently available (we're selling by the full ute tray, trailer and truck load for $100 per unit).

If you've got room, we will also be selling 10kg bags of hurd which can be used as pet bedding or for building projects for $45 each; wool packs of bast fibre which is amazing when used as w**d matting for $100 each, and h**p fines which can be a great additive to compost heaps at 50 cents per kilo.

We even have some bags of sheep poo supplied by our wooly mates in the paddock next door, so garden goodies galore!

Looking forward to seeing lots of you there 🙂
